Santal Vivant began with an idea: what if sandalwood could smell alive? I wanted to move beyond the familiar image of sandalwood as a dry, polished wood and explore something greener, more vibrant and almost botanical. Not sandalwood surrounded by greenery, but sandalwood that feels alive itself.
At its heart is an elaborate sandalwood accord, combining numerous sandalwood materials to create layers of creamy warmth, soft woody richness and luminous diffusion. Hedione brings an airy floral radiance, while subtle green and aromatic nuances lend freshness and movement. A touch of green labdanum adds a delicate resinous character, grounding the composition without compromising its transparency.
The result is a sandalwood fragrance that feels lush yet weightless, warm yet fresh, and distinctly alive.
What does Santal Vivant smell like?
Santal Vivant presents a fresh, subtly green opening with delicate floral and aromatic accents.
