MadHat Scents is a small hand made indie fragrance project based in Illinois.

Each release is blended in small batches using a mix of high quality natural aromatics and aroma chemicals. I develop, macerate, and bottle everything myself. The bottles are simple, and the focus is entirely on the experience of the fragrance.

I stepped away from fragrance for a couple of years and returned because creating scent is part of who I am. This work is about composition and form. Some fragrances are atmospheric, some are direct, and some are experimental. Each is created as its own piece.

All fragrances are made by hand in Illinois in limited quantities.
