For Osmanthe de Miel, I wanted to explore the natural contrast within osmanthus itself. Its floral sweetness carries a beautiful apricot-like fruitiness alongside soft, almost leathery nuances. Rather than pushing it into a conventional fruity floral, I wanted to emphasize those different facets and give the flower a warm, textured character.

The fragrance opens with the golden, nectar-like sweetness of osmanthus and ripe apricot. Honey adds richness and warmth without overwhelming the floral character. As it develops, powdery orris softens the composition while a gentle suede accord brings out the flower's naturally leathery qualities. Smooth woods, amber and musks create a soft, lingering finish.

What Does Osmanthe de Miel Smell Like?
